September 8, 2008 - Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary

One of the most awaited day for most Catholics especially those Marian devout Catholics is the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today we are commemorating one of the most significant events that happen in the lives of humanity is the birth of the lady who will crush down the serpent's head. Her Immaculate Conception, being first on the list, her Nativity could also be regarded as one of the most mystical or mysterious event that occured throughout the history of human kind.

The role of our Blessed Mother in our lives is so significant, in fact without her, many will be damned. The Blessed Mother is not just a Mother to us all. She is also the Mediatrix of all Graces and Sanctifyer to our souls. She mobilize us if we ask for it. She enables us to strengthen our spiritual growth and to resist evil and temptation. She is the Immaculate Conception which means she alone is the most pleasing human in the eyes of God. We must also look above Her more than any other else in the world. She is the Mother of God, and our Mother also, we must give her due respect and always ask her intercession and graces.

Today, we the Legion of Mary, Maria Regina Apostulorum had the September function and a celebration to her birthday. We had gathered ourselves together to pray and to enjoy ourselves together with our Blessed Virgin Mother.

Ave Maria!
