What a great blessing that the Traditional Latin Mass has come to Cagayan de Oro by way of the Society of St. Pius X. We give great thanks to Almighty God and the Blessed Virgin Mary for this. Let us now pray most fervently and perseveringly that the traditional Catholic community in Cagayan de Oro grows ever stronger so that one day there will be an SSPX priory and school in Cagayan de Oro.

VIVAT CHRISTUS REX!
VIVA CRISTO REY!

James B. Phillips, presently living in the U.S.A., but, God willing, hoping one day to retire to the Philippines, the Patria of my dear wife.

Dear Sir James,

It is truly, indeed a blessing that the Society (SSPX) has come to Cagayan de Oro - Philippines and brought to us the True Catholic faith.

Though we only have a monthly Mass since the priest visits us monthly, we still persevere to sanctify ourselves by way of rosaries, holy hour, the LOM meeting, and other devotions. We really thirst the Mass and the sacraments for our spiritual needs. We are looking forward that we may have a church for our regular Mass to be, and perhaps with God's Will and the Blessed Mother's intercession, a priory may be erected in CDO. That is our plea to the Blessed Mother.

As of now, we are only looking/working on/for a church for the mean time since having a priory needs a lot of work in our part and most especially a huge amount of money it require to have one in which we do not have at the moment.

We do hope to meet you in the future with your wife.

God bless you!

Ave Maria!
